Current Choo Choo Train Career Openings
1. Early Childhood Educator
Responsibilities:
- Deliver curriculum planned on the centre’s philosophies
- Create fun and positive learning environments
- Develop strategies to guide positive children’s behaviour
- Build good, open communication with children, families and staff
- Observe and record children’s growth, development and behaviour periodically
- Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe
Requirements:
- An approved early childhood teaching qualification
- Experience working in a childcare setting
- Fantastic organisational and teamwork skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
2. Child Care Nurse
Responsibilities:
- Implement curriculum plans in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
- Provide routine care for infants and/or toddler including diaper changing/assistance with personal cares, hygiene and hand washing, serving meals.
- Consistently assess and monitor children’s general health and report concerns to supervisor and family as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Certificate / Diploma in Nursing
- Caring and kind
- Health and Safety conscious
- Aware of Child Protection and Safeguarding
- Good communication skills
